Social Media Marketing Manager

Managing all communications, brand and content aspects of client conference brands and  the associations it represents across multiple channels to drive engagement, event registrations, membership, retention and positive customer experience.

With a focus on content, social media, channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation, analytics and meaningful measurement.

Development of strategy and positioning assigned for each brand/event/client.

  • Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, video, print and off-line.
  • Identification of key audiences and development of company profiles.
  • Development, acquisition and management of content including implementation of a rolling calendar of content.
  • Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Conducting ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness.
  • Gathering data and handle analytics and make recommendations based on those results
  • Leveraging current data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate/engage customers that leads to critical metrics.
  • Establishing work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • Conducting periodic competitive audits
  • Media relations, publicity and issues management
  • Digital Newsletters Communications
  • Marketing communications copywriting

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience in a corporate marketing or agency marketing role.
  • 2+ Years of Social Media Marketing in a B2B capacity. In other words, the primary target audience you’ve been chatting up on social media over the past couple years are business people, academics, professionals, decision makers, and industry thought leaders.
  • 2+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience on all major social media platforms – LinkedIn, Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, and SlideShare. We include email marketing in the mix.
  • Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Exceptional business writing skills and can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.
  • Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks’ native web apps, 3rd party social media tools, and “the internet” to run it all.
