ASSOCIATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN BUSINESS

The Association for Sustainability in Business - our ambition is to develop a vision of designing and planning Urban, Regional and Remote Australia while being aware of one planet living, one world resources and ongoing community and business sustainability.

Through on-going discussion and knowledge sharing we hope to contribute to a vision of how cities and communities operate when considering issues such as environment, governance, health, liveabilty, design, resource and food security. We will also examine the role business can play in the "People, Planet, Profit" paradigm.

We promote continuing professional development through conferences and seminars, the publication of Proceedings and Journals, and the ongoing development of an on-line podcast resource.  The Associaton is also active on all social media platforms.

Membership of The Association does not attract fees or charges and presently consists of the following communities;

  • Liveable Cities - Built Environment - Healthy Cities
  • Waste Management - Recycling
  • Natural Resources - Renewable Energy
  • Population Growth - Food Production
  • Regional Development

Article Submission Criteria

We have a limited number of publishing slots available to guest contributors, and we will only accept posts that satisfy the following criteria:

  • Posts need to provide relevant information on topics that relate to the interests of our community.
  • Posts need to be useful. While posts do not need to be a step-by-step how-to, they need to include a specific takeaway or key thought.
  • Posts need to be logical and interesting to read.
  • Minimum of 300 and a maximum of 500 words

PLEASE NOTE: We only consider full blog posts and don’t accept pitches. The approach an article takes — and how it is tied to our communities interests — will determine if it is a fit for the blog.

To increase the likelihood that your post will be accepted, consider these suggestions:

  • Whenever possible, include real-life examples and/or case studies to demonstrate the concepts described.
  • Use no more than 2 web images and 2 external links.

In addition, we do not accept submissions that fall into the following categories:

  • Posts with unclear focal points, or those that are not clearly organised or formatted to grab reader attention. We encourage writers to use subheadings, bulleted lists, and bold fonts to highlight key concepts and/or action items.
  • Articles created as blatant link-bait, with little original insight or practical discussion provided within the post copy.
  • Op-ed style posts that discuss why an issue is important without discussing how, specifically, it can be leveraged by readers.
  • Posts that have already been published elsewhere.
  • White papers, and other promotional content that is meant to tout the benefits of one specific product/service over others.

Due to the volume of submissions, we do not respond to guest post inquiries that include a request for a link exchange. These posts are not accepted.
